NSW NOMINATION CRITERIA FOR A BUSINESS INNOVATION EXTENSION VISA 188A
As part of our reforms to improve our programs and maximise the important contribution that business migrants make to the NSW economy, we published the nomination criteria for the Business Innovation Extension visa 188A.

Key requirements include the ability to demonstrate that that you have had, and continue to have, an ownership interest in one or more actively operating main businesses in NSW for at least the last two years before the application is made.
You must also show your progress towards meeting NSW nomination requirements for the Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa subclass (888) – Business Innovation stream.

NEW APPLICATION FORMS FOR NSW NOMINATION FOR A BUSINESS OR INVESTOR VISA

Please use the application form published on our website when applying for NSW nomination. Each application form has a document checklist that outlines types of evidence that can be provided to meet NSW nomination criteria.
BUSINESS TALENT (PERMANENT) (SUBCLASS 132) VISA
NSW nominates eligible applicants in the both the Significant Business History (SBH) stream and the Venture Capital Entrepreneur (VCE) stream.
We have just re-opened our VCE stream, which is for people who have sourced venture capital funding from a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL). The funding must be for the start-up, product commercialisation or business development of a promising high-value business idea that would benefit NSW. An active management role in the business is also required.
