Bangladeshi students studying in United States has been doubled
Number of Bangladeshi students studying in higher educational institutions in the United States has been doubled in the last five years, according to USA data.
Open Doors Report 2018 said around 3,828 Bangladeshi students were enrolled in different higher educational institutions in the US in 2013 and 7496 such students were studying in the US since 2018.
Bangladesh has become one of the top 25 countries sending students to the United States.
Currently, there are about 7,500 Bangladeshi students studying in the United States at undergraduate and graduate levels; a five percent increase over the previous academic year.
Representatives from 26 colleges and universities across the United States attended the fair offering information on graduate and undergraduate programs, visa facilities, funding opportunities to the following institiutes:
